Alexandria M. Zeis

Alexandria M. Zeis is a practicing family law attorney and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She specializes in complex forensic analysis and dynamic property dispute resolution. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Ms. Zeis earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine in 2007. Following graduation, Ms. Zeis accepted a position as an art gallery director in Laguna Beach. In 2014, Ms. Zeis received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law’s Editorial Board; a member of the Appellate Moot Court Associate and Executive Boards; and, simultaneously, as a Senior Member on the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team (“VICAM”) , two-time Brief Writer and award winning international finalist in the Vienna Vis Moot Competition.

Prior to becoming a family law attorney, Ms. Zeis served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Meredith A. Jury of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.

Ms. Zeis passed the California State Bar Exam in 2015 and was sworn in by the Hon. Claudia Silbar (Ret.). That same year, Ms. Zeis accepted an invitation to join the prominent Orange County law firm of Phillips, Whisnant, Gazin, Gorczyca & Curtin LLP.

Ms. Zeis became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in 2021 and has helped her clients save thousands in professional fees and costs by streamlining the divorce process and offering clients in-house financial expertise and analysis.

Ms. Zeis an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and Family Law sections and was recently recognized for her work in the area of family law in the 2024 edition of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America 2024.

Ms. Zeis currently lives in Oceanside, CA with her husband and two sons.
